Prints RUN in the console

#1

Hi, I was just curious as to why I get RUN shown in the console when I don’t put the correct indentation before the else statement? I got it during the PygLatin course.

print 'Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!'

# Start coding here!
name = raw_input("What's your name? ")
original = name
if len(original) > 0:
  print name
else:
 print "empty"

Thank you!

Have you since remedied this, perhaps by not deviating from instructions?

#3

Yes, I have but I was iust curious why it output ‘RUN’ in the console. That’s all

#4

Can’t say as I’ve ever seen that myself, but it has come up before. Could be related to the code not matching the expected pattern.

original = raw_input("Enter a word to translate")
