In every activity for Javascript, when you click next it erases your code and replaces it with some code that is similar to what you just did, but “correct”. I prefer to use the ES6 string interpolation, and the default for Javascript lessons is regular string addition (idk what to call it) and its very repetitive and drives me nuts. Is there a way to disable this or could there be an option to change that? There are many ways to write the exact same code and I get that Codeacademy is trying to teach you a certain way.

Don’t try to wrestle the courses to your liking. Follow the instructions as given and set your own preferences aside, for the time. This will give you best results.

Thats what I thought. I little after writing this, I found that it was much easier to do it the way it wanted me to. xD
