Practice makes perfect

hi guys,

i executed this code:

def cube(number):
    return number ** 3
    def by_three(number):
        if(number) % 3 == 0:_th
            return cube(number)
            return False

however i am getting this message: Oops, try again.
Did you define a function called by_three?
As you can see above i did define by three. can anyone tell me what mistake i made?

Now your by_three function is inside your cube function. I think it shouldn't be, which exercise is this? (url would be nice), you can have two function like so:

def function1():
   print "do something"
def function2():
   print "do something else"

See the difference? You nested the functions, this are two functions after each other.

Please read this post about markdown so your code/indent will show.
