Positioning Q 3 inline-block. Code failure

#1

When I did the first exercise using using block for the value for the display property it worked. All I did was add the word inline- to the code and now the editor says not there.

* {
	border: 1px dashed blue;
}

div {
	height: 50px;
	width: 100px;
	border: 2px solid black;
	border-radius: 5px;
	/*Add your CSS here!*/
div {
    display: inline-block;
}

#one {
	background-color: #FF0000;
}

#two {
	background-color: #0000FF;
}

#three {
	background-color: #FFD700;
}

#four {
	background-color: #308014;
}

Here is the html code to go with the css file.
<

!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
		<title>Result</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<div id="one"></div>
		<div id="two"></div>
		<div id="three"></div>
		<div id="four"></div>
	</body>
</html>

Hi Kchoover,

I think you need to remove line 11 in your CSS. Nesting CSS rules is invalid CSS, and that's what you're (accidentally) trying to do :)

After leaving this and doing another worksheet.I looked at the code. The Css file said to add the code "here". I understood it to mean under the comment line. It meant to be above the comment line. I put the code a in line 6 and it fixed the issue.

I came to that same conclusion when I took a break and came back and read the CSS comment line again. I put it on line 6 and it works.
