Positioning lesson 1: border color isn't #0000ff?

This is making me nuts! I've written this over and over again and it's telling me the border color isn't #0000ff. It is. Please help.

head {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;
title {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;
h3 {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;
img {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;
p {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;
body {
border:1px dashed #0000ff;

Under which element you need to style the border?

You really need to use the universal selector, it is the only thing the lesson accepts.

@albeaudin check if your CSS is linked to your HTML

It is this exerxise, the link is included by default, there is just no universal selector used

By universal selector you mean *?
Forgive me, I'm still learning.
I did try doing that, but it didn't work. I will try again

Nope, still not working

The lesson says to style them all, so that's what I did (or am trying to do)

is your style sheet linked to your HTML ?

Please provide us with the latest version of your code, both html and css and ensure your browser zoom is set to 100% (ctrl + 0 or cmd + 0)

Same thing is happening to meunder the lesson See it to Believe it:

  • {
    border: 1px dashed #0000FF;

Yet, it keeps telling me "Oops, try again. It looks like your border-color isn't #0000FF. "

Code is fine, you might have hit a glitch. Try a different browser as workaround

code is fine but you are wrong on exercise :))
this is anwser:

Thanks Stetim, I tried Chrome and now it works!

Dear you have to only use "universal selector" to pass this exercise, while you are trying to code for every element separately...
only use following code...

  • {
    border: 1px dashed #0000ff;

It will change all the boxes on the page......

Whatever I haven’t tried but it still doesn’t work, can anyone help me to overcome this barrier, I am just stuck on this task couple of days, having read Comments too many people had the same issue
