Hey everyone,
So I’ve been building this Portfolio up for a while now and I think I’m pretty happy with it, but I’d love to hear everyone else’s thoughts on it on where I can go better.
GitHub repository here.
I’ve tried several times to make the @media queries work a little better, but it’s not really gone well in practice, so it kind of works for everything. It definitely isn’t mobile optimised.
The contact form I used from getform.io - totally recommend for anyone who wants to use a contact form but doesn’t know how.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
Appreciate your time.

Hello and welcome to the CC community!
Congratulations on completing your Personal Portfolio!! It looks amazing. I especially love the font choices and color scheme - they all go very well together. But the best part is the smooth scrolling - it feels so sophisticated.
Some little touchups (simply suggestions):
- Making the
nav
at the top have more padding (it feels a little too thin)
- Also making the
nav
have a slightly different shade of blue than the rest of the page (you can use this site if you don’t already have a way to do so)
- Maybe making the font a bit bigger?
- Making a more pronounced footer (I didn’t even notice it until further inspection)
Again, congratulations on completing your project!!

Hey firebreather,
Thanks so much for taking the time to look through my portfolio and leaving the feedback!
Now you mention it - I agree that my nav
section is too thin and my footer is barely noticeable - so I’ll fix those up.
I actually used Adobe Color to choose the colour scheme (but it took me literally hours to settle in the end!) - but I agree it probably would make sense to change the nav
section stand out a little more.
Thanks so much again! Take care.
