Alright, well how about we start with what you have right now. I'm assuming you've followed the directions to some degree and are just on the wrong path so why don't you start by posting you code by following the directions here so that we can see your code. Then describe the problem or error message you're receiving when you submit your code.

If you simply do not have a grasp on the concept, still try to show us how far you've gotten so we can help you steer in the right direction :smiley:

I am having trouble with number 9
/*var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
computerChoice = "scissors";
} console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);*/
var compare = function(choice1, choice2) {
if (choice1 === choice2) {
return "The result is a tie!";
}
};
var compare = function(choice1 , choice2)
{
if(choice1 === choice2)
{ return "The result is a tie!"; }
else if(choice1 === "rock")
{ if(choice2 === "scissors")
{ return "Rock wins"; }
else
{ return "Paper wins"; }
}
};
var compare = function(choice1,choice2) {
//Begin of FUNCTION-BODY
//
// Here you place the IF
// and one or more ELSE-IF
//
//End of FUNCTION-BODY
};
else if(choice1 === "scissors") {
if(choice2 === "rock") {
return "rock wins";
}
else {
return "paper wins";
}
}
