#1

I want to know what is wrong with my code.It says expexted expression found keyword "else".here is my code.

var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
    computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
    computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
    computerChoice = "scissors";
} console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);
var compare = function(choice1 , choice2){
    if(choice1 === choice2){
        return("The result is a tie!");
        }else if(choice1 === "rock"){
            if(choice2 === "scissors"){
                return "rock wins";
            }else{
                return "paper wins"
                 }
        }

else if(choice1 === "paper"){
    if(choice2 === "rock")
    return "paper wins";
}else{
    return "Scissors wins";
}
else if(choice1 === "scissors"){
    if(choice2 === "rock"){
    return "rock wins";
    }else{
        return "scissors wins";
    }

You should indent your code properly..

var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
    computerChoice = "rock";
} else if (computerChoice <= 0.67) {
    computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
    computerChoice = "scissors";
}
console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);
var compare = function(choice1, choice2) {
        if (choice1 === choice2) {
            return ("The result is a tie!");
        } else if (choice1 === "rock") {
            if (choice2 === "scissors") {
                return "rock wins";
            } else {
                return "paper wins"
            }
        } else if (choice1 === "paper") {
            if (choice2 === "rock") // <-- right here youre missinga bracket.
                return "paper wins";
        } else { // <-- Once you add that bracket you'll have to close this else if loop here.
            return "Scissors wins";
        } else if (choice1 === "scissors") {
            if (choice2 === "rock") {
                return "rock wins";
            } else {
                return "scissors wins";
            }
        }
// <-- you're also missing a bracket here to close the function.

I have a doubt in your code. What if the computerChioce = 0.33, it satisfies both the conditions(<0.34 and <=0.67). In such cases, what would be your computer's choice??
