Plan Your Trip - Nothing printed to console!

#1

Hi! I'm new to coding and I seemed to be doing well on this course until I ran into this road block of an issue. The error message reads: Oops! It looks like nothing was printed to the console!

What should happen is that the sum of the "Los Angeles" flight, the hotel cost per night, and added spending money should be printed (as 1775). Please Help!!

def hotel_cost(nights):
    return 140*nights
def plane_ride_cost(city):
    if city == "Charlotte":
        return 183
    elif city == "Tampa":
        return 220
    elif city == "Pittsburgh":
        return 222
    elif city == "Los Angeles":
        return 475
def rental_car_cost(days):
    cost = 40 * days
    if days >= 7:
        return cost - 50
    elif days >= 3:
        return cost -  20
    return cost
def trip_cost(city, days, spending_money):
    return rental_car_cost(days) + hotel_cost(days) + plane_ride_cost(city) + spending_money
    print trip_cost("Los Angeles", 5, 600)

Hi @jayson.breton ,

Consider whether, given its current level of indentation, this statement will execute ...

print trip_cost("Los Angeles", 5, 600)

Hello appylpye,

I tried checking the indentation in a variety of ways and nothing seemed to work before; however, when I resumed the problem this afternoon it suddenly worked! I noticed this is a common question being ask, and the solution would seem like a no-brainer, yet only now did the answer go through... Possibly a glitch in the system? Nonetheless, I appreciate the help!

Much thanks,

Jayson
