how are we supposed to create a variable inside of an if statement if the if statement only contains what it's iffing, and the return, without making it return the variable (this is on the piglatin one)
Well, you can create a variable at the global level if the if statement is at the global level.
if True: a = True print(a)
On the pig latin though you can do this,
original = raw_input("Enter a word") if (original and original.isalpha()): print(original[1:] + original + 'ay')
