Pig Latin hanging

I enter my code it accepts my code as valid, but just hangs both on chrome and explorer. I just get the a wheel button instead of submit button. I cant move on. Very frustrating.

Getting accepted and hanging seems like two contradicting outcomes.

Have you considered whether your code contains instructions to wait on something?

Try to wait it. I also noticed that Python executes more slowly than Ruby that I learned previously. If nothing happens on waiting, try to refresh your browser or closing and re-opening it.

In the output console, type in a word, or something, and hit enter. This will sole a lot of hanging situations.

That worked. Thanks.

I am having the same issue.

So far I just have this code

print ‘Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!’

Start coding here!

raw_input("Enter a word: “)
original = raw_input(’”)

The wheel on the run button is spinning and I can’t type anything in the right windows. I would really appreciate your help fixing this please.

Thank you

I learned that the line of code I think should be this original = raw_input("Enter a word:") but I still can’t type in the right pane.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I am having this exact issue. I can’t type in the right pane. Refreshing the browser or resetting the exercise does not solve the problem.
