PHP Functions, Part I Math Functions II

I get this error and have read some of the other feedback. Still will not let me pass with this error..

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' on line 14 "

"Your printed output from rand() should be an integer"
,,,,so from reading other posts, I should not call the second rand() below? as in delete it and press save/submit code? that's it?

html>
    <p>
    <?php
    // Use rand() to print a random number to the screen
    print rand();

    ?>
    </p>
    <p>
    <?php
    // Use your knowledge of strlen(), substr(), and rand() to
    // print a random character from your name to the screen.
       $name = "koltton";
       $lengthRand = rand(0,strlen($name)-1;
       $sub = substr($name,$lenghtRand,2);
       print $sub;
    ?>
    </p>
</html>

@koltton
Having read the documentation
http://php.net/manual/en/function.rand.php
and
http://php.net/manual/en/function.substr.php

you are missing a closing-parenthesis-)
and
they ask you to give 1 random-character.....
