when I run my code it said this Oops, try again. get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: float division by zero

I wanted it to show the class average but it didn't

The problem is that you called `average(results)` before you had appended any values to it.

Because there were no values, it tried to divide `0/0` which results in an error.

Also, a function exits after you `return` so the `print` statement will have no effect.

that doesn't appear to be working I switched
return results
print results
to
return average
print average

actually the error message has changed now it says Oops, try again. get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: list indices must be integers, not str

never mind I went back through and redid the entire thing and it worked, no judging me
