I keep getting an error message saying "Oops, try again. get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: string indices must be integers, not str" and I don't know what is wrong with it. If anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to fix it that would be wonderful and greatly appreciated

Point1.

This code block is useless.

So remove it?
Point2.
Another thing..We need to fix our function get_class_average(students)
Out function takes a parameter students.
so we have to iterate over it.

for student in students:

point3.
Also youre not appending any value to results list.
The value that has to be appended here is get_average(student)
