Hi everyone, after looking at multiple posts I haven't been able to pass this task.
I don't know what's wrong with my code and keep getting the following error:

Oops, try again. get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: maximum recursion depth exceeded

This line should be inside the function so it starts as an empty list every time the function is run.

This is calling the function that is running (recursion).

``results.append(get_average(student))``

I've edited it like this and it comes up with the error message:
'Oops, try again. get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: maximum recursion depth exceeded' again. I haven't changed anything else in the code.

Change the above to,

``results.append(get_average(student))``
