<p> vs <body>

#1

Why does it show as <p> in the examples but I have to write it as <body> ?

<p> and <body> are different things.

<p> means paragraph, and goes inside body.
<body> is the body of the page, which is where all of the visual elements go.

The instructions ask you to:

  1. Add <body></body> to your page
    then
  2. Add code between the opening and closing body tags

Therefore you’re required to use both <body></body> tags and <p></p>:

<!DOCTYPE html
<html>
  <head>
    <title>....</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <p>..........</p>
  </body>
</html>
