"Overflow: Hidden" - what difference does it make anyway?

Can anyone explain what's the purpose of setting overflow:hidden in the body? My menu is nicely hidden on top or side as long as it set the negative value for it placing anyway. Thanks

Hi SW,

Sorry for not replying sooner!

I think the overflow: hidden; is mainly there just out of the course writer's habit. On small screens, it will keep a horizontal scrollbar from appearing, but since it'll also cover up part of the menu, I don't think that's the reason.
I wish I could give you a better answer, but I really don't think there's a reason the course creator put that line in there

Hello @zystvan!!! Thanks for ur reply
