" or '

Whats the difference between " and ’ ?

Ive always used " when I code in any language, but after completing a bunch of different things here using ", this one https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-javascript-scope/lessons/scope/exercises/global-scope?action=lesson_resume&course_redirect=introduction-to-javascript won’t let me use " anymore.

This is kinda weird seeing as I have used " for all the other ones, and I’m now wondering if there even is a difference, and why won’t it let me use " anymore?

there is no difference, you can use both (except when an exercise is being annoying)

the only difference is that if you want to use quotation marks in a string, you should enclose the string in apostrophes (and vice versa) so you don’t have to escape the quotation marks

So all the exercises are made by different people, and they decide if its allowed or not? Is there any way for me to send feedback?

maybe you can report a bug? It should be allowed to use both
