Opacity (alpha) with CSS HEX colors

In the CSS lesson: Opacity and Alpha,
is said, that itโ€™s not possible to use an Alpha with the Hex colors, but it works fine (simple by putting a value for it: :slight_smile:

Is it wrong to use it, instead of the rgba or hsla colors? :confused:

which is not true,

Hexadecimal notation: #RRGGBB[AA]
R (red), G (green), B (blue), and A (alpha) are hexadecimal characters (0-9, A-F). A is optional. For example, #ff0000 is equivalent to #ff0000ff.
