Oops, try again. Did you remember to set your link's text-decoration to none;?

h1{font-family:Verdana,Sans-serif; color:#576D94;

p{font-size:18px; color:#4A4943; font-family:Garamond,Serif;
img{height:100px; width:300px; border:1px solid #4682b4;

a:link{ color:#cc0000;

You're missing a curly closing bracket ( } ) after the img CSS.

the same thing is happening to me.

a:link{ color:#cc0000;

instead of

it should be
a {
color: #cc0000;
text-decoration: none;

Basically just removing the extra :link next to a
And you also need to add a closing curly bracket } at the end of your img CSS code.

I figured out. I deleted the whole

a {
text-decoration: none;
color: #cc0000

code that I had written. Put my cursor right after the } of the previous code - hit enter to start a fresh line, then put the exact same code and it worked.

I did just a and it didnt work then i put the :link and it finally worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laughing: :laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :sunglasses:

So what I am I doing wrong?

font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
color: #576D94;
font-size: 18px;
color: #4A4943;
font-family: Garamond, serif;

width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;

Using Chrome developer tools, I noticed my text-decoration attribute is crossded out and webkit is adding underline.

How to fix? How to proceed? Thanks

I fixed the typo and it still does not work

NOT test-decoration

a{text-decoration none;}

@amarpandey that is bad code. Css doesn't allow nesting (unless you are using sass), and pseudo-classes (:link) should only be after a css selector, plus it is against CC policy to post answers without any explanation, please read the guide-lines, thank you

to mee to , it says Oops, try again. Whoops! It looks like your 'a' selector doesn't have the color #cc0000. heeelp
