Oops, try again. Did you remember to console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'");?

// Check if the user is ready to play!
confirm (“Are you Ready to Dare!”);
var age = prompt(“How Old are you?”);
if (age < 13)
console.log(“Too young, PLAY though at your own risk”)
console.log(" You are good to go…WELCOME")
console.log(“You are at a Justin Bieber concert, and you hear this lyric ‘Lace my shoes off, start racing.’”)

console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'who wants  to race me?'");

var userAnswer = prompt(“Do you want to race Bieber on stage?”);

confused, dont understand why this code keep giving me error message…
please help out

You need ending semicolons, and should paste the exact quote in. :slight_smile:

as @cadecodes said, you need semicolons at the end of the console.log’s. The smemi-colons are used to end the line, and without them, you’ll just keep getting syntax errors.

@cadecodes and @krazykodekat… i did but it is still returning the error message.

ok, then,… It must be the website. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I can’t think of anything else. I’ve done this lesson before and it some times messes up. Usually you just need to give it a good hard refresh.

And this is JavaSCRIPT, not Java.

I know what it is :expressionless:

It looks like you have two spaces after wants.

i have removed one of the spaces but the error message still persists!

alright… thanks. will keep trying.
