Oops, try again. Check what your code prints for orange. It doesn't look quite right! (AGAIN)

#1

Help. I don’t see what is wrong with this code:

prices = {
“banana”: 4,
“apple” : 2,
“orange” : 1.5,
“pear” : 3
}

stock = {
“banana”: 6,
“apple” : 0,
“orange” : 32,
“pear” : 15
}

for key in prices:
print "%s " % key
print “Price: %s” % prices[key]
print “Stock: %s” % stock[key]

#2

the output needs to be an exact match, this includes case sensitivity and no additional spaces after %s

#3

i didn’t get it. please answer that question more specifically

#4

If you don’t understand, make your own topic as stated in the guidelines, don’t hijack an existing topic

#5

That is great feedback and fully understood but what are we comparing it too? What am I exactly matching?

#6

step 2 of the isntructions:
Like the example above, for each key, print out the key along with its price and stock information. Print the answer in the following format:

apple
price: 2
stock: 0

see how price: and stock: are all lowercase? You can’t see it, but there is no space after apple while you have a space after %s

#7

Got it. Picky, Picky :slight_smile:

#8
