Number Guesser javascript

I started working on this project and can’t seem to get it to run. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here.
Here is what I have so far.
https://www.codecademy.com/practice/projects/number-guesser-independent-practice

let humanScore = 0;
let computerScore = 0;
let currentRoundNumber = 1;

// Write your code below:
const generateTarget = () => {
  return Math.floor(Math.random() * 10);
};

const compareGuesses = (currentHumanGuess, computerGuess, target) => {
  if(Math.abs(currentHumanGuess - target) < Math.abs(computerGuess - target)){
    return true;
  }
  else{
    return false;
  }
};

const updateScore = (let winner) => {
  if(winner === 'human'){
    humanScore++;
  }
  else if(winner === 'computer'){
    computerScore++;
  }
};

const advanceRound = () => {
  currentRoundNumber += 1;
};

Thanks

const updateScore = (let winner) =>

Do you see the problem with that line?

haha thanks silly mistake!

Hello,

I’m new to coding and can’t figure out why the program is not running. I even copied the code from the earlier post and it still doesn’t work. Below is a copy of my code. Assistance would be appreciated.

let humanScore = 0;
let computerScore = 0;
let currentRoundNumber = 1;

// Write your code below:
const generateTarget = () => {
return Math.floor(Math.random() * 10);
};
const compareGuesses = (currentHumanGuess, computerGuess, target) => {
if (Math.abs(currentHumanGuess - target) < (Math.abs(computerGuess - target)) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
};
const updateScore = (winner) => {
if (winner === ‘human’) {
humanScore++;
} else if (winner === ‘computer’) {
computerScore++;
}
};
const advanceRound = () => {
currentRoundNumber += 1;
};

I suggest using your browser’s console to debug this project. The console will tell you where your bug is.
