Notebook or Bookmark for questions in lessons

Hi,

I’ve been loving to learn using your site so far, but I’ve come to a realization and want to add what I think. I am happy with your product/site anyway, but I think this could make it better. Ultimately this is just my thoughts and opinions, and I am happy either way.

I want to propose adding an ability to bookmark and write notes linked to specific parts in specific lessons.
For instance, if I do lesson on Files in Python (which is what I am doing right now), I would love to be able to bookmark 3/13, and write some simple notes, for questions or things I wanted to explore further.

My reasoning:
I would like to ask questions when I have questions that is not answered in the lesson. But to do that I have to finish the lesson first to see if the questions I have are already answered. I think this would be great for getting more relevant questions, and for improving learning. - You might want to say that one should just be patient, and you’re right. But in those cases where the question remains after the lesson I think it is great to be able to effectively go back and review it.

I would like to be able to mark things I struggle with and/or want to repeat, or things where there are tips for further reading. I like to finish the lesson I start at and not have too many breaks in the lesson itself.

Bonus, not ultimately part of my feedback:
If you also allowed us to export this, or see our “notes”, it could enhance our learning. I know the cheatsheet is great for this, but we understand things differently. For instance, some people are happy knowing things as “that is how it works in this language”, but for others (in this example, me, but I don’t think I am unique), I struggle with remembering or understanding unless I know the why of it as well. And so I usually write my notes as detailed as possible to give me understanding of why something acts like it does.

Thanks for providing such a good learning platform.
