Not sure if I'm good

It says my code is correct and I can go to the next exercise but it doesn't print the word I type in... Is it normal?

 print 'Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!'

raw_input("Enter a word")
original = raw_input()
if len(original) > 0:
    print original
else:
    print "empty"

Write an if statement that verifies that the string has characters.

Add an if statement that checks that len(original) is greater than zero. Don't forget the : at the end of the if statement!
If the string actually has some characters in it, print the user's word.
Otherwise (i.e. an else: statement), please print "empty".

#2

you currently prompt the user for input twice, why?

here:

raw_input("Enter a word")
original = raw_input()

raw_input() will prompt the user, you can store what the user entered in original, so this should be one line of code

Ok, now I get it! Thanks!
