print "You guessed that one already"
#what is problem with my code plz help

you can't have an elif after else, given else covers all remaining possible cases/scenarios, the order should be:

is the shot in the ocean? (if)
has the user guessed this coordinates before? (elif)
the user missed the ship (else), print the board and mark the wrong guess with X

sir plz see this problem and they are asking to add an elif how to do that

the url will just load my own code

yes, you added the elif, but at the wrong place, the order is always: if, elif and finally else. You have: if, else and then elif
