if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your code is not visible, take the following steps to make your code visible:

select your code and press ctrl + k (or cmd + k if you use a mac)

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

I also flagged your post, it should simple be on the html + css forum

thank you for your help. I was trying to figure out how to post the visibility. It does't look any better.

i gave instructions on how to make code visible? Anyway, remove the paragraph tags, and add the style attribute to the body opening tag (<body>) and the ordered list opening tag (<ol>)

also having the same issue:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<title>Sexy background color!</title>
	</head>
		<body style=background-color:brown>
		<h3>Favorite Football Teams</h3>
			<ol style=background-color:yellow;>
				<li>The Hawthorn Football Club</li>
				<li>San Franscisco 49ers</li>
				<li>Barcelona FC</li>
			</ol>
	</body>
</html>

you are missing some quotation marks ", they should be around the style value:

<p style="font-size: 30px;">

Gotcha. That solves it! Thank you!
