Throughout my experience learning with CodeCademy, logging things to the console and seeing the output has been one of the basic things I’ve gotten used to. This thing I’ve been taking for granted seems to be a very difficult thing to achieve now that I’m expected to use the VS Code editor. Is there a simple way to, you know, just have a darn console like what I’m used to?
It depends on exactly how you set it up but typically you can definitely set it up to run the code with a single keypress and output any simple text to a nested window in vs code, https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/languages/python should have the detail you need to get that sorted.
