While very simplistic, I think it works well as a starter portfolio. The only suggestion I have is that your level 2 headings are very small, which can make them difficult to read for those with vision impairments.
I do not know if you used text-size-adjust to make your text appear smaller or not, but I think it looks perfectly fine without it.
