Next Dot 1

#1

I can't get my code to work. I keep getting the error "Remember to remove '.active-dot' from the current dot." Can someone try to spot my error please?

`var main = function () {
$(".dropdown-toggle").click(function() {
$(".dropdown-menu").toggle();
});

$('.arrow-next').click(function () {
   var currentSlide = $('.active-slide');
   var nextSlide = currentslide.next();
   currentSlide.fadeOut(600).removeClass('active-slide');
   nextSlide.fadeIn(600).addClass('active-slide');

   if(nextSlide.length == 0) {
       $('.slide').first();
   }

   var currentDot = $('.active-dot');
   var nextDot = currentDot.next();
   currentDot.removeClass('active-dot');
   nextDot.addClass('active-dot');
});

}
};

$(document).ready(main);`

I've figured it out...The I had a common s instead of a capital one of currentSlide and an extra curly bracket

@systemrockstar74885 Please create a new topic with your code, a link to the exercise you're on, and the error message you're getting in it, and someone will help you over there :slight_smile:
