I am newbie, but I want to learn and join the data analytics space - if anyone have suggestions / tips in the this career field please free to share 
Analytics is a very interesting science. It is important too.
In Codecademy you can find Data Science course or Back - End Engineer. First is about collecting and analyzing data (writing AI too). Second is creating servers for sites (News portals), but without Front side.
To become programmer work hardly every day. Good luck in a big, but interesting path.
