Netflix Capstone

Hello all,

Here is my Netflix Capstone project. Feel free to let me know what you think and/or if you want me to give yours a look too!

Great stuff! Only tiny comment is that the x-axis is cut off in the last slide - probably an issue with plt.savefig().

Might also be good for the last graph to widen it a bit since they look a bit squashed, can do that with plt.figure(figsize = (width, height)).

Keep up the great work! Here’s mine by the way, feel free to critique in kind

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t have much experience with customizing the figsize, I should probably play around with it more.

As for your PPT, I do think it is important to have a title for the slides. I know it is a bit weird to have a title that is the same as the title for the graph and they wanted specific titles for most of them, but I think it helps the reader and it also makes it nice for you when you need to scroll through the slides.

Hey @sellingson. Really awesome stuff, I can’t think of anything you missed from a plotting perspective, and your slide’s presentation are great to.

One thing I’ll note is in your final slide says “Netflix performed relatively the same as the DJI…”. Though the graphs are similar the scale is important: Netflix went from about 140 → 190 (36% increase) whereas DJI went 20000 → 250000 (25% increase). In actual fact, you could argue that Netflix convincingly outperformed the DJI.

Thank you for the feedback! I simply neglected to overlook the differing measurements for both subplots. I’ll update those insights to reflect your notes.
