Need help

#1

My code is below. The output is "Hello, how are you, Joe?" but I want it to say "Hello, how are you, Emily?" Appreciate the help! Thanks.

// Below is the greeting function!
// See line 7
// We can join strings together using the plus sign (+)
// See the hint for more details about how this works.

var greeting = function(name)
{
console.log("Hello, how are you," + " " + "Joe?");
}
// On line 11, call the greeting function

greeting("Emily");

Hi Dream,

Look at the line where you are logging to the console. See where it says "Joe?"

Replace "Joe?" with name

Then, when you use the function greeting("Emily"); you will see that name pop up instead of Joe.

To keep the question mark at the end, you can add + "?"

Your final line of code should look something like this -> console.log("Hello, how are you, " + name + "?");

Change "Joe?" to name + "?"

Yay I got it right :stuck_out_tongue:

@jibblyj :laughing: - You remembered to include the "?" mark, so you did better :smile:
