Need help with deploy a website on 4/7 adding a remote

Im not able to add a remote to github and I dont know what im doing wrong

You just have to pass

through the command line, filling in the data that's needed (ie the parts that say your-user-name).

ive tried that sooooo many time its not working for my and I dont why

Does it give an error message?

Yeah, I am struggling with it too.

I also wrote the exact data in the command line, with my username/user-name .

$ git remote add origin
$ git remote -v
origin (fetch)
origin (push)
$ git remote rm origin
$ git remote add origin

EDIT: It worked with the help of these 2 posts:

Hey you all... I had the same problem...

And this is what worked for me...

In your terminal window, you will need to create your directory again...
$ jekyll new presonal-website
$cd personal-website

After you move to your personal-website retype what is required in step 4 of 7
$ git remote add origin

username will be your username.

As I said I had the same problem and this is how it worked out for me.

Hope I helped.

Cheers from Bosnia and Herzegovina

You should write this command when you in directory personal-website/ in this task

Best regards from Ukraine

" Fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git "

I dont really understand it

it say
" Fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git "
