guys i need help with thisexercise

In ~/.bash_profile, at the top of the file, type

echo "Welcome, Jane Doe"
You can use your name in place of "Jane Doe".

Type Ctrl + O to save the file.

Press Enter to write the filename.

Type Ctrl + X to exit.

Finally, type clear to clear the terminal window.
ANSWER:
nano ~/.bash_profile
echo "Welcome, Destan Prince"
type ctrl + o then enter
then ctrl + x
TELL ME what's wrong .

No clue.

Nano is a text editor, same as notepad or what have you. It behaves a whole lot the same, so compare your expectations to what you see and explain the difference in your question.
