How do I get to my website without going through code academy?

Well, find a server (here are a few examples), upload your files to the server with a ftp-client (filezilla client for example), voila, your own website. Feel free to ask if you have any questions
Can this be done after I finish the HTML CSS code academy class? I’m asking because I have to keep pushing forward in regards to time restrictions.
