My first Portfolio project

It was my first big project, and it took me around a month to finish it, maybe because I was not sure about some features that I wanted to add or even I was too enthusiastic trying of making other difficult things that I am not ready yet, but at the end, I am very happy with the result, but I will add the option of making it colorful and other features that I have in mind soon.
Feel free to send me any feedback!

I hope you enjoyed this project!

I -love- the eye movement, it’s super Monty Python-y. Generally I think the UX is really good and it looks great at different screen sizes. I also love how you present the certificates, it’s a really clever way to give users the option to see them without forcing them to.

My only recommendations would be regarding the computer effect on your home page:

  1. The text appears slower than reading speed, which can get quite frustrating if you’re trying to actually get information. I think ideally you’d want all of the text to appear within a second at most. This would also probably solve the second issue…
  2. If you click on one option and then another before the first has finished rendering, you get a really weird effect where it’s trying to render both at once. Difficult to explain, but if you try it you’ll see what I mean.

Hi Ruben,

I think this is such a cool portfolio, it is functional and the design and entire concept work really well together.

Your eyes following the cursor is really cool. I literally felt excitement while looking through.

On a more functional note there as a few things you could do to improve:

  1. Is English your second language? There are a few minor spelling and grammatical errors. Grammarly is a great tool to use to check vocabulary and grammar before adding text to your website.

  2. When viewing the Vision and then Skills button, there seems to be an overlap where both are typing at the same time.

This is a great portfolio and I am really excited and motivated to keep learning to code after seeing this! Good luck to you!

Thank you jonrosk089 for your comments, I have changed the speed of the effect and as you said, fix the problem of the overloading same effect at the same time. I would like to fix this problem in another way because I want to keep the typing effect like you are typing letters from your computer or not making it appears too fast like know, but while I trying to find another solution, your suggestion works very well. Thank you again!!
