My biodiversity portfolio project - adding feral plants and NPS acreage for more context

Please review my biodiversity project. It took about a week to put this together.

I had trouble finding enough meat in the data to find anything interesting. Single point in time observations and no good variables to find correlations between. So I pulled in acreages by national parks, and a list of feral plants of concern from an academic paper.

For reference, feral plants are crops that grow wild and are generally excluded from invasive species lists, as part of the definition of invasiveness is agricultural harm.

I also posted the Google Slides I created as a pdf within the repository.

Others have mentioned suspecting the data we’ve been supplied is fictional. I sure hope so, as I found 1 in 200 vascular plants in national parks is a non-native feral crop. And that despite no observations of the big three crops within the data (corn, soy, & rice).
