I’m having the exact same problem. Template works fine on home page but not on the store page.
I tried replacing all the template code with some fixed html

<p>Template should be here</p>

Which renders fine on the home page, but nothing on the store page.

Did you make any progress with this?

I got there eventually. Had to make sure the section in the html had the same id as in the template code and that no typos in the Handlebars stuff.
