Multi-Line comment (so confused)

#1

I went over the spelling of my comment many times and also made sure there was no space between = and begin but it still says I'm not starting the comment with =begin

=begin
This is
a multi
line
comment
=end

#2

It looks like you have a space after begin, remove that and try submitting again.

#3

Thank you so much. I wasn't aware the space would have so much impact in Ruby and I didn't even know it was there. That fixed it though!

#4

I don't think it is Ruby itself that cares in this case, it is the code checker that is being too picky.

#5

still don't get it, i don't see a space?
=begin double line
comment
=end

#6

Your code:

=begin double line
comment
=end

You can't put "double line" in after '=begin' since '=begin' needs to be on it's own line, like for example this:

=begin
double line
comment
=end
