I’ve recently made a python terminal program doing mortgage calculations. (Here is the link to my repo: GitHub - Yunry/M-Calc: Uses python to make an intuitive terminal-based calculator for monthly-payments. Very first project.)
There I’ve used the standard US fixed rate mortgage formula from Wikipedia and referenced other calculators for my adjusted rate mortgage calculations. Though I think the calculation of mine is wrong.
For example, this website Adjustable-rate mortgage calculator - ARM loan calculators calculates the value for 6.5%, 30 years and $200000 loan $1,722.66 as maximum payment while mine is much higher.
Aside from that, please feel free to review, criticize and play around with my code.
I would love to receive some feedback!
Happy Coding and new year!
