More with for

#1

start_list = [5, 3, 1, 2, 4]
square_list =[]
for x in start_list:
 print x **2

square_list.append(x)
square_list.sort()

this code is giving me error
Oops, try again. square_list should be the same length as start_list

#2

this line:

square_list.append(x)

should be inside your for loop (re-indent it so it inside your for loop)

You print x till the power 2 here:

print x **2

but you don't store this anywhere, so x gets appended to the list, not x^2

#3

start_list = [5, 3, 1, 2, 4]
square_list =[]
for x in start_list:
print x *2
square_list.append(x)
square_list.sort()
print square_list

now the error is Oops, try again. It looks like square_list has 2 at index 1 instead of 4

#4

sorry its x**2 but the error is the same

#5

its sorted
i need to append x**2
