More Variable Practice. Whats wrong here?

#1

I cant seem to either do the math or get the syntax right for this bs. /dislike java

someone help plz. so frustrated

When printing the length of a variable, you must have a structure like this:

(variable).length

You put the word "canada" on there instead of the length of it, so you have to replace that with:

myCountry.length

AHHH jeeze. thank you.

i see clearly now. its asking for ".length" I thought they wanted me to get it to spit out the entire country and not the digit count.

i need to learn to read more carefully. thank you again, ragezapper. :smile:

I think you need to change the first console.log statement on line six to the following:

console.log(myCountry.length);

See if that helps :smiley:
