More Fonts ex.5

#1

Need help, don't understand whats wrong:(

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-html-css/lessons/css-fonts/exercises/more-fonts?action=lesson_resume

1.
In index.html, add a link to the Google Font Roboto. Use the following URL:
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:100

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
   <title>The Rise of Soccer in The US</title>

    <link href="style.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
  <link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:100' type='text/css' rel='stylesheet'>
</head>

#2

Since the stylesheet specifies the Roboto font, it has a dependency, which means the font should load first so it is present when the style sheet is parsed.

#3

Sorry, im not so good in english, don't understand, what should i do:(

#4

Switch the two link elerments around so the stylesheet.css loads after the font.

#5

It doesn't help

> <!DOCTYPE html>
> <html>
> <head>
> <title>The Rise of Soccer in The US</title>
>    <link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:100' type='text/css' rel='stylesheet'>
>      <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
> </head>

#6

Refresh and Run again so your code updates could be all you need to do, now.

#7

Sit on this second day, I tried everything, updates Xtimes, nothing helps, maybe bug?...

Hard to say. Once we complete the exercise it is our final code that gets saved. The only way we can test other's code is to redo the entire module and catch up to where you are. This is very time consuming and often times doesn't arrive at a solution. I don't know how effective we can be under these conditions. A lot of the same very basic questions are surfacing in the forums and nobody can help. Kinda scratching my head...

Yeeah i got it! This is correctl!!! Thanks for trying to help:)))

<html>
<head>
   <title>The Rise of Soccer in The US</title>

     <link href="style.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
          <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:100" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet">
</head>

If it let you move on, then kudos. I still stand by the suggestion to load the font before the style sheet, just for best practice and logical load order. Dependencies should download and load before the modules that expect them.
