Single line comments only need to start with a hash. We don't need one at the other end.

# this is a Python line comment

#5

i errased the last "# ", yet the problem persists.
Says there is an error when defining "monty"

#6

Your code passes for me:

#jsdf
monty = True
python = 1.234
monty_python = python ** 2

#7

strange...... yet, still signs as an error.
can it be that there is a problem with the indenting??

#8

There is no indenting needed since there are no functions or control flow structures. I really don't understand why it is not working. Did you paste in the solution that passed for me? Did you try to refresh the lesson page and submit again?

#9

I have the same problem, this is my code:

Hello world

monty=True
phyton=1.234
monty_phyton=phyton**2

Please, help!

#10

Hi you wrote phyton instead of python

#11

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!
when writing "monty = True" make sure "True" goes with CAPITAL "T"
