Missing the point in 8. Functions,return and if/else

#1

Oops, try again. Did you remember to call quarter() inside the if statement with a value that would cause it to print 'The statement is true'?

var quarter = function (number) {
   return number / 4;
}

if (quarter(4) % 3 === 0 ) {
  console.log("The statement is true");
} else {
  console.log("The statement is false");
}

I just don't get the explanation in the exercise. It's probably because of my lack of English and mathematics... ANyway, how do I solve this?

Many kudos to everyone who replies :slight_smile:

here:

quarter(4)

you have currently 4. this should be a number which after being divided by 4 should be divisible by 3.
