var main = function () {
$('article').click(function() {
$('description').hide()
$(this).children('.description').show();
)}
$(document).keypress(function(event) {
if(event.which === 111) {
$('.current').children('.description').toggle();

In your jQuery-Selector
you want to select-html-Elements by using their class-name of the class-attribute
You will find 7 HTML-Element with a class-attribute class="article"
and you will find 7 HTML-Elements with a class-attribute class="description"

The jQuery Selectors would then look like
$('.article')
and
$('.description')
Have a look at
https://api.jquery.com/class-selector/
