I was inspired by some of the old school text-based computer games, as well as current DnD campaign ideas!
I came up with the idea of a maze, with the user controlling the pathway through the maze. The user, or player, has a randomly generated assigned strength and constitution. The players attack bonus, defence bonus and HP are then based off these scores.
Throughout the maze the player may happen upon several items whcih can boost their stats, meaning that the final battle can be won more easily… At the centre of the maze there be dragons.
Its not perfect by any means … and it took a lot longer than it should have! But I enjoyed it a lot.
