May be a dumb question(more methods, more solutions)

my code is below and I’m just wondering what the " " blank string is for in the each_key method?? does that mean it prints nothing as the value? I feel as if ive gone over this before, ill definitely be restudying but id like to have a good idea before I redo the ruby exercises! thanks!

movie_ratings = {
  memento: 3,
  primer: 3.5,
  the_matrix: 3,
  truman_show: 4,
  red_dawn: 1.5,
  skyfall: 4,
  alex_cross: 2,
  uhf: 1,
  lion_king: 3.5

movie_ratings.each_key{|m| puts m, " "}

It looks like it’s adding a space between the words to avoid this:
