Math and the Modulo

#1

This is how my coding looks,

// Below is an example of printing the remainder of 18/4 using modulo:
// console.log(18 % 4); 2
// console.log(14 % 3); 2
// console.log(99 % 8); 3
// console.log(ll % 3); 2

when I press enter, its showing with message, "Ops, tri again. Did you use modulo to find the remainder of 11 / 3 ?"

Please help, to me everything looks good...

#2

I think that should be 11 (one one) rather than ll (little el, little el)?

#3

In the last one, it wants you to do console.log(11 % 3); but you've done this: console.log(ll % 3);.
Simple mistake, you just used ll instead of 11.

#5

now its telling me this, Did you console.log() the result of 14 % 3 ?

#6

That was a silly mistake,

now its telling me this, Did you console.log() the result of 14 % 3 ?

#7

I really can't tell much from here. Did you type

console.log(14 % 3);

?

#8

Remove the number at the end of each line as they may be messing with it. Also, make sure none of them are commented.

#9

I do not understand! Please be clear...

#10

// console.log(18 % 4) ; 2
// console.log(14 % 3) ; 2
// console.log(99 % 8) ; 3
// console.log(11 % 3) ; 2

#11

Uncomment all of the lines.
You also have a space between the semi-colons and the console.logs. Remove that space.
Also, get rid of those numbers at the ends of the lines.

It should look like this:

console.log(18 % 4);
console.log(14 % 3);
console.log(99 % 8);
console.log(11 % 3);
